Gordy Heminger is a lifelong resident of Northwest Ohio. with proven leadership experience in both the public and private sector. He has a record of hiring, training, and supervising staff; using technology to enhance customer service and save dollars.

He has proven experience in managing and balancing budgets; increasing office efficiency and providing excellent customer service.

Gordy earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Bowling Green State University and is now employed by the BGSU Alumni Association.

Gordy is a 4 term elected official with a record of providing excellent constituent service; timely and responsively addressing citizens concerns; working to prevent tax and fee increases, as well as council pay increases; advocating for parks and recreation and seniors. He is recognized for working in a bipartisian manner.

He is currently serving as President Pro Tem of Bowling Green City Council.
